We supported MPA Fellow and Ilford Master Printmaker James Tan in his Advanced Workshop for Printing in which he shared invaluable information about color management, equipment calibration, image preparation, etc.
Motorsport Workshop with Ivan Joshua Loh at Sepang Circuit, 6 & 7 April 2019
Fujifilm Malaysia partnered with Singapore racer Ringo Chong for the opening race of iRace at 2019 GT World Challenge Asia. Ivan conducted a 2-day workshop covering motorsport photography with access to trackside, garage and pit lane. Broncolor Malaysia was invited to support with Broncolor lighting for the race queen photoshoot sessions.

Eujin Goh and Mezame conducted presentations to PPAS members at Shooting Gallery on the Phase One IQ4 and Capture One editing software respectively.
Portraiture workshop at EnVogue Studio, 23 February 2019
BCSG organized an intimate portraiture workshop in collaboration with Patrick Pak for 10 participants. The model Sherina was painted in earthy tones with subtle prosthetics for texture. The workshop included a presentation by Eujin about light and lighting technique using Broncolor system, Phase One IQ4 hands-on shoot by participants, Eizo monitor overview by Siti Rohana, and Capture One editing software by Mezame.
Fujifilm GFX event at Sheraton Imperial KL, 13 January 2019
BCSG was on-site to support Broncolor user Tengku Azri who talked about his craft and his experience using the Fujifilm GFX system. He also conducted a brief portraiture session with the Broncolor Siros L 800, Para 133 and 90 x 120 softbox with grid.
Ivan Joshua Loh shoots in an old power station, 7 January 2019
Fujifilm X photographer Ivan Joshua Loh shot a personal project at an old power station with Bobby Tonelli, Colleen Francisca and a brand new Triumph Street Triple RS motorcycle. The full day’s shoot was illuminated with HMI 400, HMI 800, 3 Siros L 800, Para 133, Para 177 and various reflectors.

Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival, 26-28 October 2018
We participated in KLPF with a booth to showcase premium photography tools from broncolor lighting system, Phase One camera systems, Capture One RAW image editing software, and Eizo self-calibrating monitors. We also premiered a new range of lightweight, compact stools from Swedish brand Walkstool. Walkstool is a Swedish invention and the only three legged stool in the world with telescopic legs, patents and trade mark protections.
Fashion For A Social Cause, 14 October 2018
On Sunday 14 October, we joined Professional Photographers Association Singapore (PPAS) at Marina South Pier MRT station for a shoot to support Fashion For A Social Cause by Singapore Fashion Runway. The main shooting area for groups was equipped with a Para 177 and two 30 x 180 strip softboxes with Pulso G lamps, while a smaller set-up for individual portraits was equipped with an Octa 150 and Unilite lamp. Participating photographers included Ukay Cheung, Ruth Soh, John Yuen, Aaron Ang, Eujin Goh and Tennant Lim.

Nikon Experiential event at Plaza Singapura, 27 & 28 September 2018

Fujifilm Workshop with Ivan Joshua Loh, 22 September 2018
Broncolor Singapore was invited to support a Fujifilm photography workshop by Ivan Joshua Loh at a top secret location on Saturday 22 September 2018. The casual, fun-filled workshop garnered about 40 attendees who were eager to shoot models Dwayne and Jasline in a location filled with vintage cars, pinball machines, dentist chairs, and loads of amazing antique treasures. Also in attendance to support the workshop were representatives from Capture One, Eizo and Wacom to demonstrate their products in a workflow.
Hair and Fashion Show by S.E.E.D. at Triple X Club, Johor Bahru, 20 August 2018
We were on site at Triple X Club in Johor Bahru to support our friends Live Gallery on their participation in the S.E.E.D. hair and fashion show. PPAC award winner Gary Chong Chern Wei gave an impressive live demonstration on fashion photography with our Broncolor lighting system including Siros 800L lamps, Scoro S power packs, Para 133 reflector, etc.

We were invited by our Vietnamese counterparts to give a Basic Professional Lighting Seminar using the Siros L in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Michel Caillet, International Area Sales Manager at Bron Elektronik AG gave a brief history of Broncolor in Allschwil. He shared with the audience that museums all over the world are among Broncolor customers:

Project Rainbow Runway, 9 July 2017
Broncolor Singapore and photographer UKay Cheung helped out again at Singapore Fashion Runway. 52 models and about 30 who are from special needs/ breast cancer survivors will turn the 18 local designers’ special collection into a Summer Paradise-themed SHOW on 12 August 2017.
Capture One Pro 10 for Cosplay Photography: An Introduction, 2nd July 2017
Hosted by Broncolor Singapore , Phase One and LunarWorks Studio, the event was attended by cosplay photographers based in Singapore. Photographers had a good time testing out the 30-day trial copies of Capture One Pro 10 (full featured) and a hands-on session with lighting setups using Broncolor equipment and taking the Phase One XF 100MP medium format camera system out for a test drive.

Fujifilm SG Action & Fitness Workshop with lighting support by Broncolor, 18 June 2017.
It was a fun-filled, action-packed workshop by Fuji X-photographer’s Ivan Loh with lighting support by Broncolor Singapore.

Muse Chan 100MP Photography Seminar, 25th April 2017
It was a sold-out photography event for well-known Hong Kong wedding photographer Mr Muse Chan when he travelled to Singapore recently to share his photography experiences and presented live demo. The other co-organisers of the seminar – Phase One, Eizo and Epson also gave short presentations on streamlining of photography process to the audience, based on the theme “Capture-Display-Output”. The highlight of the seminar was the live demo session when Mr Muse Chan shared his thought processes on lighting and troubleshooting unreservedly. Good job, Muse Chan !

shootSIN is an informative forum based on the premise of building a vibrant photographic community, where budding photographers, advanced amateurs and professionals can network, share ideas, educate themselves on photographic tools, and foster a community with their fellow photographers.
Originally established in 2008 as Shoot NYC, the shoot_event has spread internationally (Shoot London, Shoot Paris, Shoot Amsterdam, Shoot Gothenburg) and will be happening in Asia for the first time in Singapore. Top photographers from the UK, Japan, China, Malaysia and Singapore will cover an array of subjects in fashion, wedding, portrait and commercial photography through a series of seminars and live demos. Attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the latest Hasselblad camera systems and Broncolor lighting products during live shoots.
